36 week update

So, I went to the doctor today and apparently I am already 1.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced...and I guess all of these weird back pains and belly tightening I have been having are contractions?! Needless to say I left the doctor with my head spinning. She said even though we are a little early, she would not stop labor once it starts since he is nearly full-term. I am supposed to take it easy for now to try to keep him in there as long as possible. We still could very well last until the first week of May as planned, but there are certainly some things going on in there that could mean he may come a little early as well. Therefore, I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. I'll keep everyone posted.
